My life as Mihaly

I am fictionkin with Mihaly, and believe this all to be true - NOT AN RP! My timeline is only my own, don't take this as the sole truth. I'm warning you guys, this is long, my sentimental ass couldn't bear to leave people out even for the sake of being concise. This is so long I had to pay for Carrd premium.

The one (but not the only)

This is me, Mihaly! Can you believe there's approximately THIRTY coaches I've identified as myself? Much like my fic, Master Panda the Dad, I got abandoned by my mother (Stheno!) and adopted by him as a child. I started a family with Liza, also I had a villain era once where I fought the Without Me crew so that's a thing. My favorite memory is that I once unironically danced to Karma's a Bitch. Idk, talking about myself is hard, I'd rather talk about my friends and family.

Liza Friday <3

Liza - the one I got together with. We got married after I (not to brag, but) daringly rescued her during the story mode of 2023 Edition. After one too many incidents involving Night Swan, she decided she wasn't going to be a damsel in distress anymore, and casually became a black belt. It was epic. She had a villain era too but hers ended with her turning into a fairy so it's okay. She was related to EVERY other Katy Perry coach in some way, usually a sister or a cousin.

The chaotic gremlin

Saxobeat (she/they), unsuspecting as she is, appears in dozens of different routines. They loved to perform, and with powerful magic, they were able to look however they wanted. Often, they wore ponytails out of convenience, other times they'd curl their hair to look like their moms (as they did in She-Wolf's map + battle). Saxobeat was always there and watched over us, which came in handy at times. They had autism and didn't speak, using AAC to talk. They had a brief villain era set to Hit The Lights where they (misguidedly) decided to try and "make" people be happy, with obvious mixed results. Her moms were the coach for Fame, and the coach for Venus (a deity!).

Starships were meant to wake me up inside

Believe it or not, Lindovica, the coach for D.A.N.C.E., was a magical girl, the coach of Starships! Except, she later got locked in a clock tower, turning her into Bring Me To Life P1, Liv! Years later, she snapped and became Where Have You Been. She briefly died after the vs She-Wolf battle, but she got better. She was actually extremely cheerful, the most cheerful person you'd ever meet that would brighten everyone's day - those were just her...rougher moments.

It's going down

Amanda was my sister. She started off as the coach of Timber and Heartbeat Song, but one day, she decided to become a hero, and turned into Kaboom Pow's coach! After finding out I'd once had a supervillain phase though, she became jaded, and ironically, started her own villain era! That's when she became the coach for one of the betas of Animals extreme. Thankfully, that didn't last long either, and we reconciled happily.

Da da du du du

Icona Zita Shard: the name I started calling her as a joke after I'm Outta Love's official name reveal, only to realize that was actually her real middle name. Despite Just Dance being her canon song, I honestly associate her more with I'm Outta Love because Just Dance was, you guessed it, her villain era! It started with her turning people into windows and ended with her getting smacked by a ghost. It's a long story. She ended up together with Gangnam Style P2. That's an even longer story.

Everyone forgets Problem has a canon name lmao

Cat, the coach of Problem, grew up to become the renowned superhero Phone Girl. I get sad about it sometimes (see the slide about myself and take a guess why). Her villain era was the map for Wild, in which she got experimenting with dark flow. Her little sister was Moxie, and her daughter was Xime. Cat was the coach for Disturbia, which was serious at the time but is actually really funny when compared to My Name Is.

Yes I'm talking about that one random JD3 sweat DLC lmao

Merengue was the coach of Merengue. What a shock! She had a ton of sisters, which were Mas Que Nada, Asereje P2, Maniac, and Follow The leader. Merengue lived most of her life as a normal woman, but when her villain era started (I'm sensing a pattern here), she gained badass powers and turned into the coach of Heavy Cross because why not at this point. Also, she was Grace's mom apparently.

No she's not satan

What I find funniest about these two being the same person is that, most people view the Sympathy For The Devil coach as an evil demon with a cool name. Meanwhile, I remember her name being Becky. Just "Becky". When she was younger, she took dance/performance lessons from Scarlet Gold, but it never went anywhere as a career. I met her on an adventure and didn't really expect to see her again, but during a crisis situation years later, she was on a team I joined forces with, and we became close. A fun fact about her is that she stood at 4 foot 10, the shortest person I knew, and she was proud of it.

No I don't know where the name Westley came from

This is Halle, a younger sister of Merengue! At only 19 years old, Halle formed a resistance group against the (very much evil) coach of Rock and Roll Will Take You To The Mountain, who was unleashing an apocalypse across the Danceverses. Her methods were a little dubious sometimes, many things she did were less-than-legal, but she was happy to live a quiet life afterwards, becoming a sports coach - following in the footsteps of her athletic older sisters.

You can't get with this if you ain't built for this

Fix was morally neutral, playing both sides so that she'd always come out on top. As long as they had money, she was willing to work with anyone. Unfortunately, this didn't work out the greatest for her forever, and she moved to Dancity (as seen in her Uptown Funk cameo!) after getting banned from Cyberfunk due to her antics. Some non-canon songs I remember her dancing to are Sue Me by Sabrina Carpenter and Future Nostalgia by Dua Lipa. Liza hated my friendship with her at first because she thought Fix was a bad influence and tbh that was fair, she committed crimes but she was nice to me so it's okay.

"Art is more comforting than ice cream. It helps me break free!" Dahlia's quote, verbatim

After Dahlia's divorce, she moved to Sun Horizon to be with her "best friend", the coach of Happier Than Ever (oh my god they were roommates). Dahlia's daughter was the coach of You Make Me Feel... (the one with the pink hair, which is why Dahlia dyes her hair pink!). But Dahlia had a secret - she was also a superhero, the coach of Break Free! But Dahlia isn't the only one with a secret identity: there's a reason she and Happier Than Ever's coach know each other...

Happier Than Ever is Agent D

Ever notice that Agent D's red-haired outfit looks familiar? Well, as it happens, she's the coach of Happier Than Ever! Along with a ton of other routines. She wasn't really a hero or villain, doing whatever best served her needs. After all, the mansion she tore apart didn't come for free, and she had to make that kind of money somehow. Despite what canon may suggest, she didn't only dance to Britney, otherwise the presence of Britney Spears music would give her undercover identity away! I don't actually know what her real name was, she wouldn't tell ANYONE. Even when she got married (to Dahlia), she went "I, Agent D" at the altar. Somehow.

Super cool awesome panda dad

Master Panda was the BEST dad you could ever ask for. When he found me in the forest one day, he took me in and raised me as his own. He always told me about how not just anyone could be a successful shaman, but that he believed it was fate that we found each other. He gave the best hugs. But Master Panda was skilled in more than just shaman magic, and when he died, he passed that power onto me. One time his ghost beat up my mom. That was a satisfying watch.

Sorry for the length but it'd be really weird if I didn't talk about my children atp

Lilac was Liza and I's oldest child. Despite our best efforts, she wound up getting into trouble several times, thanks to her taking up the mantle of a superhero as Eteria. She was incredibly brave, and as an adult, there were a few times she pitched in to help when we were in trouble. We tried reminding her that she wasn't obligated to do so, but she insisted. Btw Loco is totally real. Even though Ubisoft didn't put it in the game, she and her friends still definitely had a villain arc set to Loco by Itzy.

Naming your kid after an instrument is normal for the DANCEverses I promise

The name "Timmy" surprisingly wasn't short for Timothy, it was short for Timpani. He was named after a type of drum, chosen by Master Panda. He was always a little quiet, rarely even arguing with his sisters as a kid. After he learned about Night Swan in school when he was only 6 years old, inadvertently scarred because that's a hell of an age to find out one of your parents got kidnapped once, he wound up with a passion for everyday heroes and grew up to become a detective. He got together with the coach for Dun N' Dusted!

"omg, Funhouse is my daughter! Wait, shit, Funhouse is my daughter..." -me

Merry was my youngest biological daughter, you'll never guess what holiday she was born on. I assume the name "Folie" was something Iluquim imposed when they cursed and imprisoned her, because if you couldn't tell from the header, she became Funhouse's coach later on. Considering she also had a run-in with Cthylla as a child (for no reason other than Cthylla wanting bragging rights for successfully messing with the child of a Just Dancer), she just couldn't catch a break. It all suddenly makes the song "I just can't get you out of my head" a whole lot more sinister...

"I remember Rubika going by Ruby, wouldn't it be really funny if that was her...oh WAIT" -me

Rubika's civilian name, outside of her hero getup from Wannabe, was Ruby. For a reason still unknown to me, Ruby and her friends later became the coaches for Buttons and Don't Cha. I've always noticed how you can really see the resemblance between Ruby/Rubika on her face, she has the same look in her eyes. Ruby's "parents" kicked her out of the house at only 16 years old, so Liza and I took her in. Super Bass vs Love You Like A Love Song did happen, but the two ended up reconciling with neither of them really "winning" the way they do in game.

She's also one of the Nice For What coaches but there's only so many pics I can fit in at once

Qweno, daughter of Rusga'thors, went by the name "Natalie" in an attempt to distance herself from her alien-like biological mother. Her home life was awful, and eventually things escalated to the point where we took her in. She looked up to Saxobeat immsensely, as the two of them were both neurodivergent, and through their help, Natalie became more confident in who she was. Chantaje (subway version) is Natalie coming on an adventure with Saxobeat and I, simply because she'd "always wanted to".

I just couldn't not include her...

Ashlynn, better known canonically as Rosaria or Topaz, was the best friend of two of my daughters. She hung around our house all the time, supported them through hardships, and they all saw each other as an unbreakable trio. She wasn't really "adopted" in the same sense, but you bet your ass that whenever she needed help, I ran to save her like she was my own. She was player 1 of Stop Drop Roll, and her girlfriend was player 3 of the same map.
